Sponsorship of Team Members

The primary objective of Dragon Boat Racing is to have fun while fundraising for charity and therefore each team member will be expected to raise sponsorship monies. Half of the proceeds of the event will go to CancerWise and the other half to charities supported by the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory.

 

CancerWise

CancerWise is a Chichester based drop-in centre dedicated to helping anyone with cancer, together with their families and carers in their day to day lives. They provide clients with a wide range of counselling, complementary therapies and emotional support.

Charities supported by the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory

The Rotary Club of Chichester Priory supports a broad range of projects in the local area. Youth groups, schools and clubs for the disabled, charities supporting vulnerable young people, local hospices, work with the elderly plus  events such as the local heat of Young Chef.

Gift Aid

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound donated, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue – helping your donation to go further. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.50 just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make and it doesn’t cost you a thing!
